How much per txt to txt a person in Canada whilst im on my hols their. How much does it cost them to txt me back. And how much for me to txt home to England.

I beleive the rates will vary from operator to operator, but generally you will be charged a flat rate for sending back to your home Country another rate for texting to the Zone you are in (these are set by your mobile phone network e.g. Europe might be Zone 1 and America and the Caribbean Zone 2) and another rate for texting to other zones.
When recieving the rate is flat, no matter where they're from; approx. 50p per message.

For them to txt u it should be the same as if you where home but for you to txt will cost u what ever you provider wants to charge. I would check with them before you go away. I think it can be as much as 40p a txt

Text messages between the UK and abroad tend to cost between 20p and 50p depending on network. There isn't really a cheap way around this, just try keeping texts to a minimum while you're there.
