That is a bit much! My son is 7 and I would never consider breastfeeding him now. I did breastfeed all of my babies but they were all weened off by the time they were 13 months old

Oh H*ll no! I'd say that borders on child abuse. Just think about it - if there was no milk in that breast and a 7-year-old latched on, that woman would be arrested! Think about what that is doing to the mind of the 7-year-old as he/she tries to grow up and learn what normal physical boundaries are....uggh!

LOL, well.. I don't know. but I still took baths when my kids were little, and stopped around 5 yrs old (my boys) still took a bath with my daughter till she was around 8- most people think of it weird, I think of it as normal... so maybe your friend thinks it is normal to breast feed at 7.

I went to a meeting before the birth of my first child to meet others that breastfed and or planning on it. I was shocked to see women allowing 4,5,&6 years old to walk over to them in mid conversation and grab at their boobs. I breast fed for 6 weeks it is healthier for the child and better for the mother. but after that not way!!

Some La Leche League Mothers take it too far. I'm all about "Breast milk is best", but there is a time to wean the child. And it should've been 5&1/2 years ago.
That's disgusting.

I think you need to call a social worker or whoever they or called who makes house calls for kid problems like that. For that is not normal. Mom's normally only do that until 1yrs old maybe 2 if that.

I honestly think your neighbor should seek immediate counseling. Now I am not 100% sure, but I think that may actually be against the law in some places

This is way out of the ordinary and the child, more than likely, will suffer in most aspects of his life. Wonder how he does at school? Wonder if she is even telling her family doctor?

Only if the child has medical problems and can't help her self. But if she's a 7 yea old and it ain't nothing wrong with her oh yea that is very abnormal. Both of them need to get some mental help.
