My 4 month old kitten just got her first set of kitten shots. She got them yesterday & is very sleepy, sore, is not moving to much & is NOT eating!! Yes, it was a vet that gave her the shots. By the way it was her first three. Please help!!

I have had cats for many many years and every kitten that has ever had its first set of shots, or second or third etc. has gotten tired the next day. Part of it is the meds and part of it is the fuss of the day before. Just keep an eye on your kitten and make sure it drinks water so it doesn't get dehydrated today. If your kitten isn't more responsive tomorrow I would call the vet.

Any time I have had a pet vaccinated, they are always tired and lethargic for a day or so. If the kitten is still acting that way after a couple more days, then call the vet.

When my kitten got her shots that did not happen to her. I would call the vet today and see if this is normal.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, mine did the same thing after her shots and it scared me too. Give her a few days and you'll see, she'll start perking up.
