There doesn't seem to be a band right now who can hold a candle for these musicians. We're left with... Good Charlotte? Eek! How about Dashboard Confessional (another eek!). When will these bands ever come back?!

I'm with you on this one. The grunge era was rockin.I seriously don't think that were going to get any new bands like them or see a re-union from any of the old ones.Temple of the dog, Lemonheads,Alice in Chains,(Early) Pearl Jam,lots have come and gone and all were left with is bunch of ***** boy bands who are trying to come off tough. And they all have the same sound.

I don't miss Grundge since I play Soundgarden, Peal Jam, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and other groups almost every day.

Reggae has not been quite as strong since Bob M. passed but Culture, Israel Vibration, Maná, etc. keep it going.

I like old school rap, except that Moss Deff did some great music around '90. Also the Roots.

yes, very much so. I miss Nirvana in a big way! Huge influece on my younger self. As well one of my favorite songs still to this day is "Sad Lisa" by Cat Stevens from 1970. It just has such a creapy feeling about it. Well for me at least. A friend of mine had commit suicide while listning to that song over and over. That was al we heard in the house all day long. Little did we know what was going on until later.

Yes I miss all the real music of back in the day from the 70's,80's and 90's... That is way on Saturdays I watch classic oldschool Soul Train episodes .It feels good to see real music and real artists from back in the day using real instruments showing actual creativity . Today music sucks and there is maybe 20 artists out there that are creative. The other 80 suck

I don't miss those particular bands, cause I can play them anytime. I do miss new great bands, new sounds. Radio I could listen to. Everything seems so dumbed down now. Pop is to dominant and the wide variety of good stuff is all indy with low production budgets and no support. I also miss music videos, they were great.

I love the music of the 90's. And I love the music from the 80's also. I really miss them both. And any time that I go to Wal-Mart I have to find this music on a CD. and I have got to buy it. I have a car full of CD's from the 70's,80's and the 90's. The music now really SUCKS!!!!
