YES IT IS!
for a start it has a blue ray drive. a standalone blue ray player will run you roughly £1000. and theres always the joy of being the first to have one.
the games will be far more superior than the x box 360 due to the large capacity you can get on a blue ray disc. about 25GB compared to the 360's 8GB.
mines is ordered. is yours?

If so, retailers might not get as many pre-orders as they think
If you have and XBOX360, it is certainly not worth buying a PS3. The quality between the two at present is not that different.
If you have neither, go and buy some magazines with demo discs for both ps3 and xbox360 and have a look at which you prefer and evaluate the cost of each with the content and quality of the games.

I reckon both the PS3 and Xbox 360 will drop in price in the run up to xmas. Best option is to get yourself a Wii in the meantime then wait till January and pick up a PS3/Xbox 360 on the cheap. They will be loads of great platanum/classic games on the market at discount prices too.

nope, buy an xbox 360 , wii. there both cheaper, xbox is better online, with similar graphics and better games, the wii is loads more fun, the only good thing about the ps3 is the blue ray drive, n thats only usefull if u have a hdtv

NO!!! It's a total rip off!
It's nice to get new better stuff around, but this price is ludricrous. Show 'em your back and teach 'em a lesson.
Go for Wii.

You're paying GBP400.00 for a blu-ray reader and 24.99 for a second rate game box with warmed over technology. For less than half, get a Wii instead.

NOPE! defifintelty not for £400.00+ way too expensive i think xbox 360 is more worth it than ps3 just wait till the ps3 get out of fashion then get it but if you do really want a ps3 more than xbox 360 i suggest you get ps3 if you want it get it?

no i have a xbox 360 and there great and have some better games than the PS3 such as gears of war and halo 3 (coming out soon) :)
