Hi, I am almost 26 weeks pregnant and have started to have the restless leg problem. Last night was pretty bad. I just cant get comfortable anymore! Anyone else expierince this? Anything that helped? I will ask my doctor about it, but I know that it happens and is not anything to worry about, so I don't wanna call about it. Any relief suggestions would be great! Thanks

I have had this since the begining of my pregnancy. I am 35 weeks now and have it almost every night. I have a friend who is a nerse. She told me to take my perental vitamins at night because it has calcium in it and that may help with your restless leg problem. Maybe even drinking some milk before bed.

I've had RLS for a very long time now and it's only gotten worse since I have been pregnant (I am 35 weeks along). I can't even sit in my recliner anymore due to the uncontrollable urge to move my legs. It is driving me bananas! Now it has even started to act up when I drive. There are only a few things that help me. Laying down on my left side when it starts acting up and not eating a bunch of carbs late in the day. Most times if I resist the urge to move my legs when it starts acting up it will go away pretty shortly. If all my other techniques fail I usually take a warm bath and that really helps a lot. I hate to tell you though, if it is already acting up, it is only going to get worse as your pregnancy progresses. It won't last forever though... well that is if you didn't have it before. Best wishes and good luck!

Try putting a pillow in between your legs, and another one to hug, and just make yourself as comfortable as you can. Try drinking warm milk before bed time, according to a lot of people that helps you sleep. You need natural things like warm milk to try to get you to sleep sooner. So you can have some sort of relief.

I'm not pregnant, but do suffer from restless leg problem from time to time. I find if I eat less sugar, especially at night I don't have that problem. So, if you must have that small bowl of ice cream, have it at lunch time. Hope this helps.
