A very good choice indeed. I can see you have done your research into the varied aspects of successful business managment.
Having a mime on staff, or depending on the size of your company, perhaps many, is a necessity in the modern corporate word.
I have several full time and keep more on retainer for those times when needed.
You should, however be carefull about making them a partner. Fewer the better.
But that is not to underestimate the value they provide. There is no better tool to use, when in the heat of a Board Meeting, than telling the other members (who have every intent of throwing you under the nearest bus) that you defer their questions to the one person that can answer them. He will of course, be silent and will incur the wrath of the board members.
While they drag him out into the hall and pummel him with fists and chairs, you can sit quietly. Safe in the knowledge that your failures have been blamed on some hapless mute.
Plus you can feel smug in knowing that tomorrow you will add to your staff one more handicapped person. Thus also fulfilling your quota of speech challenged individuals.
I would suggest, to a man of you corporate insight, to consider the visually challanged. What better employee to have assist you when you are shredding last years financial forcast? You have only to tell him/her that you are simply shredding the complaints against them. They buy it every time. Suckers.
Yes, it is true. There are many positions availabe for the challanged among us.
We, as corporate leaders, must set the standard, raise the bar, and provide a vision for all when it regards hiring the handicapped and challenged.
Plus they work for about 45% less.

I eat mimes for breakfast. You need a mute clown. We're much better at running a business. Carpooling is our specialty!

That would be a disastrous choice. Because mimes believe "what's mine is mime's, and what's yours is mime's."
