From my childhood I have seen same moon with Craters forming a "deer" or "rabbit" like figure on it. If moon has a spherical surface it should have other surface which do not have the same figure as seen by nacked eye.

The Moon is round, and has a "second" side.
The Moon orbits the Earth in 27.3 days and rotates around its axis in 27.3 days. This synchronization in the orbital and rotation period causes the Moon to always present the same side towards Earth.

The tidal forces between the Earth and the Moon slowed the Moon's rotation until it became locked with its orbit around the Earth. The Moon therefore always keeps the same side of its surface facing the Earth. As the Moon orbits the Earth, the entire half facing the sun is illuminated, but the amount of this lighted half that we can see changes. Thus the Moon seems to change shape or phase. The far side of the Moon is lighted part of the time and dark part of the time as well; hence it is incorrect to refer to it as the "dark side of the Moon" (sorry, Pink Floyd).

You can have a glimpse of the far side of the moon at this link http://www.mhhe.com/physsci/astronomy/fix/student/images/09f19.jpg Side B is the other side... :)

Anyone who has seen pictures of it taken by the astronauts and cosmonauts that orbited the Moon has seen the far side.

I have. Haven't you?

The moon side facing earth is heaver than the other side ,so gravity holds it that way. THE ASTRONAUTS THAT FLEW AROUND THE BACK SIDE HAVE SEAN IT.
