My husband and I were married right after we turned 18.He had never even tried recreational drugs at that point.I married an awesome guy.But he started a lovely career in exotic dancing and discovered the fast life.My husband is not evil.he intends to hurt no one.Yes he is wrong and is guilty and deserves all the time he gets. But he also deserves society's need to educate instead of remain ignorant. He is someones son,my husband, the father of my daughter, and a brother to 3 sisters. He is also a child of god just like the rest of us.educate yourselves please before judging when you have no clue.

Say Bye Bye to your husband. He is going away for a while. I will guess 10 years depends on where you live and their exact laws. In some states he could do up to life for the meth and coke.

What he deserves......I hope.

I have no clue??!! I grew up in Brooklyn NY, some of my friends from High School are strung out, some are blue color guy's, some are professionals who where a suit everyday, others are in jail and yet others are dead. Gang fights, drugs these were parts of everyday life for us growing up, some of those strung out told me in grade school they "would NEVER end up like my brother/sister/Dad/Mom" whatever. You can't get much a better education on what drugs do than watching a family member slowly deteriorate. Guess what, ALL my friends were someones son or daughter, besides I don't know a single human being who needs to be educated on the fact that steeling cars is wrong, faking the tags is wrong, driving with a suspended license is wrong, having cocaine and meth is wrong, SELLING cocaine and meth is wrong, driving a uninsured car is wrong. If he had hit and killed someone in the uninsured, stolen car guess what they would have been someones father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter. The people he sold those drugs to were,YUP you guessed it someones father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter.

P.S. I have a friend who is the head bouncer at an adult bar on LI and he doesn't do or sell drugs, he's not a thief! Hell you would be hard pressed to find the guy drinking a beer!!

My heart does go out to your daughter though, she's the true victim.

Being a narcotics officer...my best guess is your husband was arrested for a possible charge of either Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances, or more possibly, "Trafficking in Controlled Substances" due to the weights/amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine you've described.

More than one ounce of methamphetamine alone is a real problem here adding to the seperate packaging which is indicative of illegal sales of a controlled substance. My suggestion is that you obtain legal counsel IMMEDIATELY!

There is also the chance that the law enforcement agency involved with the arrest take the case before a Federal Grand Jury making this a federal case versus a state case...which could severely affect the outcome of this case with higher penalties.

Take no time in obtaining counsel!

Best wishes!

with no prior it sounds like ten years. If he had a gun in the car I believe it would be 25. He's in a heap of trouble. The lawyer bill will be at least 10k. Why do people do it.
