It wants lots lots of change.
Actually I am in UK from 3.5 yrs.According to me it must be done
=history subject change to general knowledge
=it must be management subject from standard 7
=basic computer must be from 1st
in our country all faculty selection done after 10th or 12th instead of that it must start from 7th
like if some interested in MBA ,,,must not study history at all from 7th and all subject must be teached related to MBA..
and over all Gk and management and English must for global

*In my opinion a lot of reconsideration is necessary.
First of all all systems should be integrated as one through out India. There is CBSE syllabus, There is ICSE,there is SSLC and matriculation and so on. All these be modified and into only one scheme or syllabus except the languages which may be modified according to each state or region.

Secondly. subjects with vocational training should be taught to all students.

Additional languages specially any one additional foreign language such as Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, German, Spanish , Arabic, Mandarin or such similar language should be introduced at appropriate level and very attractive Scholarships, to be provided by the Government and Children should be attracted to study additional Foreign Language. Importance for Sports also should be given in a better way.

The education should be in such a way that after completion of education even up to PUC ( or Plus 2 ) , student should be able to set up his own small industry with Government help or able to be self employed with out waiting for jobs from Government or Private establishments.

Education should aim at all individuals development as well as the Nation.

Too much importance to very old History all can be removed.

Every Child Should be taught about our constitution and constitutional rights.

Yes, because obviously it is not working
In other countries, notice how they have more successful education for the children who live there than we do
we are just afraid to change our ways, or maybe we don't even know how to
We should change SOMETHING so that people/ children of the future will be smarter and more successful in life... because obviously we are behind in something, I mean look at where we are to all thse other countries w/ education and state of life satisfaction
