Where does all the money go that is raised by having weddings/funerals/christenings and other services ? One of my team has been quoted a hideous figure for a wedding and asked whether I knew - I don't have a clue but am genuinely interested putting my views about church aside.

It goes back to the church for improvements and to pay things like the vicars wages and is probably given to charit and the community. They earn a reasonable amount, probably £20,000 ish, but they get a house aswell, which is alwasy good

So far as I know preists take a vow of poverty so it goes to the church.Maybe you should recheck that figure it should not be huge.

it goes to a diocese which is basically just the local church's bank.
