What you are actually doing here is meditation.
Since I was a child the idea of infinity was fascinating to me. I'd lie in bed and start thinking of forever and ever and ever....... and then at a certain point, as my mind would fail to grasp hold of the magnitude of it, the infinity, the foreverness, this beautiful, fantastic sense of peace would come over me.
All I can say is you are on the correct path. Keep exploring fellow traveller!

I think about death but I think about how my family would be better off with out me. I think about how my son would not have this yelling mother that is all ways on his back about his room or grades. I think about how my husband would be better off with a wife that knows how to keep house and would take care of him much better than I do.
