depending on how long you have let your registration lapse you should be able to get the info from the nmc (they have a website) all you need is your pin number which you can find on any official letter from them or the ukcc as it was a few years ago, and your date of birth.warning you will need to do a return to nursing course .good luck Andrew. oh and to all u non nurses unfortunately we have to register every year paying £46 for doing our job as well as prove we are fit to do the job so it isn't that easy any more but at least it keeps us and u the general public safe.Just a point to u abusers of nurses on a Saturday nite after one too many, we pay for the privilege of being spat on and called names not too mention being physically attacked.please remember that and to the questioner are u sure you want to come back?

Upon receiving your degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and passing the Nursing board exam, you automatically become a registered Nurse.
