What do I need to play USA Games on a UK PS2?

I understand I need some kind of a chip(Is there a name for it?), Where am I likely to get it from and how much is it likley to cost?

if you take it into a market place near you that deal with games and stuff they should be able to do it for you its only about £10.I got it done for my son,just ask them to chip it for you explain its for USA games,make sure its a shop,and not a stall as there are a lot of dodgy characters out there.good luck
