Be the bigger person. Don't stoop to her level, but think about finding yourself a new best friend.

Go straight to the source. Tell her how you know without using names, and tell her you do not appreciate the fact that she is backstabbing you, and you feel since she is not a trustworthy friend you can no longer share any information with her or hang out with her. It sounds harsh but, in reality real friends don't backstab each other. Friends are people you can tell your dirtiest little secret too , and they won't tell anyone. Real friends are the type of friends that don't talk about you, and degrade you. If those are your friends then why do you need enemies.....

Get even (sure, but then what? will you be happier?) or Just leave her alone (good girl) cuz if she backstabbed you, she's not your friend anymore. This thing happens everyday...mostly people will get even...but you don't need to go with the trend...cuz you know you are special and mature enough to handle the matter in a better way...Just ignore her and tell yourself that she means nothing to you and whatever she does doesn't affect you...show her that you are better and stronger than she thinks and she is just a particle in the air...good luck...I know it hurtful...but time will heal it

Well first off... if she is backstabbing you then she is not a true friend. You may have belived this person was your "best" friend, but a true friend looks out for you and cares for you. You many consider distancing yourself from people who are trying to hurt you. Good luck and stay strong.

1. Calm down before you talk to her
2. Get her alone
3. Be specific and calmly ask her why she did a particular thing
4. Listen to her answer and don't interrupt
5. Consider what she's said
6. Tell her how it made you feel
Remember that you want to know where you stand with her, so don't put her on the defensive or start an argument. Just get the facts and then decide how to proceed.

I guess this kind of question demands more information but on the basic side don't call her a best fren anymore for best sort out whatever is there to be sorted out between the two. Maybe u could try to talk the problem through but if that doesn't work you two used to be fren.

if she is backstabbing you, then she if not a true friend. try talking to her, and if she lies about it, then tell her you two are over being friends.

Realize that she isn't your best friend at all and drop her. She's not going to stop being a ***** to you because she has a serious insecurity problem. Quit making your life complicated and drop the drama queen.

Apparently they're not your "best" friend any more. People change as they grow. I'd treat them like they're invisible. That's the best thing you can do to a back stabber who you thought was your friend.
