J.K Rowling said that the seventh part would be the last in the Harry Potter books

No. I should think JK Rowling is probably heartily sick of writing Harry Potter books and now she's reached the final one and made a big noise about how it's going to be the last one (she had always said there were going to be 7, 1 for each year of Harry's education at Hogwarts), I should think that will be it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a spin-off series down the line though!

I think she'll write more in the Harry Potter universe after a break. I really do. I think it might be more of a prequel, though. Like the time of the marauders and the first Voldemort outbreak, Harry's childhood, or writing about other characters in that universe. I, for one, would love to see one about Snape growing up in Hogwarts. Maybe it's just wishful thinking. Ho hum.

I hope, but the author says no. I doubt it after she already refused or whatever you would call it.
I wish there was another book.
