Hey guys,
I am still waiting for my period - now two weeks after missed. I have had a couple of pregnancy tests and both negative. However, I am wondering whether I concieved during the week I was supposed to get it as I had a spotting the week before and stopped taking my pill the week I was supposed to get it. If I did get pregnant that week the tests would not show a positive result until in about a week. I have stopped taking the pill waiting to get cycle so can start another type. Until recently I had only mild cramps and fatigue, now the cramps have gotten much worse and my nipples and breasts are very sensitive and sting. Last night I was shaking and have had nausea for the past week. Could this be pregnancy or just body adjusting? I am going to test again in a few days if I don't start period. Pls any advice would be helpful.

I have had a blood test done last Thursday and came back negative. However my doc did say that if I got pregnant the week I was supposed to have period then the blood test would not show accurate result for a few weeks still. Thanks for the advice though.

I have a history of ovarian cysts so know what they feel like. Yes - the are definetly painful, but different to what I am experiencing. The reason why I am wondering whether pregnant is that I am a dancer of 20 years and every pregnancy I have had I had such severe abdominal pains from ligaments stretching. I am so confused..lol

You can get false negatives! Like you said, if you test too soon, if your hcg levels are a little low, this can all come together and give a false postive! When I tested for my oldest daughter, I got a positive, but a VERY faint pos.. Went to my doctor and low and behold I was, it's just my hcg levels were a little low. From the exam and lmp, I was only 5 weeks, that's why the test was faint. Good luck!

You should go to your doctor and have a blood test run. There are many things that can cause a negitive result on the home tests. And if you read the fine print of the test it does say that a negitive result is less acurate than a positve. Me and my husband have run into this several times. And finaly after going to the doctor a few weeks ago I found out I was 17 weeks pregnant. After 6 EPT's said I wasn't. Hope it works out for you. Good luck.

You sound like me I went through the same thing. You are most definitely pregnant just take that last test and go to the doctor again and take one there and see how accurate that one is and you should know, Or you could be under a lot of stress the reason why you havent hade your period yet there can be so many reasons but you know your body better than anyone else.

I got 3 false negative tests with my son. Go see a doctor and they can do a blood test.
