I have to do work today and school stuff and clean my house even though I'm sick. Life is so not fair..

My question is "SINCE WHEN AM I AN ADULT?" you know the big bold lettering and the question mark are a pretty good indication of a question. My condolences to your mother since Hooked on Phonics obviously didn't work.

you are an adult when you become responsible for yourself and your actions- some people can become adults as early as 14 or 15 years old others never become adults....legally it is 18 even though the legal system makes some exceptions(eg. 16 but tried as an adult) In your particular case I cannot say for sure when you became and adult but im guessing you have been one for some time now so saddle up and get things done!!!
why dont you put off cleaning the house until you feel better, im sure your family will understand.

Technically when you turn 18 and able to vote you are considered an adult. But in my opinion some people never grow up.

Poof, it seems we're adults and there isn't anyone else to do our stuff... it's all us.. Sometimes I like and sometimes I don't.. especially when you just want to lay in bed all day and skip a test at school..

Judging by your spiteful response to answers received, you are not an adult yet and you need to grow up a bit, develop a sense of humour and drop the attitude!!!
Seems to me that if you're well enough to ask dumb questions on the internet, then you're well enough to do your homework and tidy the place up!!
