I'm sure they did. And I bet the moon is made out of towels.

No - certainly not. Man landed on the moon without any doubt. There is way too much info to clarify this.....just go do the research.
There are those who believe Elvis still lives and that Diana's death was deliberate, and so on.......& so on.....
Man landing on the moon was a truly awesome event x 6 missions which succeeded via the Apollo Programm.

this answer was put here by katehughes(bunch of numbers)
"I saw the documentary on Channel 5 and there was a number of reasons given for why it was a hoax.
Too many to go into right now, but the main ones I can remember are when they were walking, there was no dust coming from under their feet, and the American Flag they planted on the moon was shown to be "blowing in the wind" - THERE IS NO GRAVITY OR WIND ON THE MOON, it would have just flopped down."
i believe we landed on the moon
there are some problems with kate's answer....
first.... of course there is gravity "on the moon"
ever atom is pulling on every other atom in the universe
and if there was no gravity
how could it "flop down"?
wheres down?
as to "blowing in the wind"
idk.... there could be wind in space
but i don't know

Of course they landed on the moon. All the so called proofs that they didn't are very selective and have been comprehensively refuted.
Why haven't they been back. The cost. No doubt those who ask this question would be the first to scream about the expense of such missions.
And I have to disagree. There is light on the moon. The sun radiates light. We see it. Tell me why anyone thinks there is no light on the moon? It reflects light, that is how we see it. If there was no light, how could it be reflected?

No, it was the moon lander that landed on the moon. The astronauts just stepped out of it and walked around.
Have you seen those things? Go to the National Air and Space museum in Washington DC and have a look at the moon landers, and you'll wonder how they ever did it!

No I'm not a disbeliever, because they left a mirror there. And every night they shine a laser on it to measure the distance between Earth and the Moon.

All of the 'hoax theories' have been answered many times, on t.v and in magazines, by different people and it makes no dofference. The same arguments are used over and over again.

I don't believe a word of it. First of all: any rocket would topple over in all that soft cheese. Secondly: if you look closely at the Earth from the Moon Pictures, you can see the black strings holding up the Earth and Stars.

My grandfather co-designed the nose of Apollo. They were never allowed to talk much about work to their families (cold war, don't you know) but I have so many momentos and trinkets he left behind, I find it hard not to believe it was all true.
