You find a purse containing 8000 dollars. The purse also has a visiting card wherein the name of the owner of purse has been given. You go to his house and hand him over the purse. The person is very pleased and draws a note of 1000 dollars from purse and asks you to accept it for your honesty.

What would you do in this situation?

Would you accept that note?

What would be your reaction?

accept it for being an honest person. Most others would have kept the 8k and the owner knows that also.

Give it back, decline the reward, happy to have turned it over / estatic to get it back. offer the rewrd as well. But for me I would request they give the offer to a charity. They would need it more than me.
