This happens every day in every country, even in the USA, people killing each other for petty reasons...it's the way of the world anymore...the only reason why this is standing out is that it's a "war" zone and the media is hyping it...you don't hear--day in and day out--about the THOUSANDS that die everyday in all the other areas of the world from senseless murders, mothers killing their children, children starving, wives being beaten to death, clerks being killed in armed robberies, etc., etc., etc. This is "terrorism" too but very few people understand that concept. They are all just blips on the back page of local newspapers, they don't get the international media attention like these wars are getting. You may be living a "calm life" now, but it could happen to you...and it will outrage people who care about you just like you are outraged by the "terrorists"...and your death will not make international headlines. All you can do is pray that it's all over soon and be grateful that you are still human enough to feel someone else's pain from the other side of the planet...these "terrorists" can't even feel their neighbors pain, they have no conscience, so they find it easy to kill their fellow man...I kept an old article from columnist Mike Royko (may he rest in peace) about how scorpions and rattlesnakes respect each other and that humans are the only animal that kill each other for the fun of it...as Mr. Royko put it, "Kind of makes you proud, doesn't it?"

Yes, it is a bit crazy and very, very sad that so many people are killed every day by terrorism. There is enough suffering and death in the world already without adding to it.

It is a terrible thing, the suffering, the destruction, the loss of life. Bush bears a good piece of responsibility for this as well. He has badly destabilized the region with his poorly-run war.

I would say a 'calm' life is the exception rather than the rule for existence.

Besides, suffering is a part of this life, - all we can ask is that we suffer for righteousness, - rather than for sin.

Even we Amercans send folks to jail, - for them to 'suffer' for their sins.

Yes - it is Madness - but isn't it strange that they still remain faithful to Islam - they are unable to see the origin of the Violence.

what can we do to prevent this? Probably in the bigger of everything, this is part of population control - cruel but part of life
