I know that not all producers make the same, but can someone give me an example of someone that they know?

The short answer is... it depends. The basic formula is that 80% of the money brought in is used to pay for manufacturing and distribution, and that 20% goes to the producers, though they have to pay royalties to the actors and other production crew out of their share. And bear in mind that when these deals are worked out, they are also having to do negotiations on monies received for computer downloads, iPods, etc. It's all very complex and convoluted.
