Every coin has two faces.
Everybody tents to see the one side and comes into conclusions by presumption about the nominal value of the coin.
What about if the side we don't see has been defaced?
It has legally, no nominal value.
Do we need rules and laws? there is a quote..."the law is like fish net. The big fish tear it apart and go away, the small fish are passing through". Drop off the laws?
Someone above said..."anarchy". Well in "Anarchy" we may have total "CHAOS"
But what if we have a society where all its members are concious citizens up to the point where they are beyond the use of the rules and laws?
The rules and the laws will be selfabolished, because they should be not in use anymore, due to the citizens are doing conciously what have to do.
This society, because it has no more rules and laws, is called "Anarchy" as well or "Anarchic Society".
Nobody rules, nobody governs. All the citizens do whatever they have to do because they are concious.
Don't rush to say that this society cannot be exist.
There is on this planet this society and exists on its full.

The "Beehive" has queen but she does not rule. every bee does what has to do, until the last moment of its life

It should be nice to get examples from the bees and try to learn from them.
The secret?

Education.

"Give me a kid, I'll give you a King"
But we are in need of "political will" and "political leaders", to reach to that point.
Both elementsunfortunatelly are in extinction

A world without rules and laws is a word that is corrupt and filled with violence. And the parents do not teach their children right from wrong so that there is no chance of civility anywhere. It would be a dog eat dog world. We would need a flood to drown us and someone who lived by laws would be saved and they start a world where civility would rule the day and rules and laws would be an absolute necessity.

But of course thankfully that would never happen on this planet. Only in a myth.

While it may seem like a good idea it wouldn't work. It would be chaos. But through chaos comes order so eventually rules would start creeping into the society and become laws. Then again people will start going against the laws and bring back chaos. It's a vicious circle.

We need basic laws and guidlines. I agree, some laws are just silly. Most are for our protection and should be in place while others are based on causes and personal benefits. You can't make everyone happy!

The world we live in is a crazy place, but can image how life would be if we were all the same and didn't have different lifes or choices or expereinces. We would not need to have rules or law. How boring it would be, as we would not know any differences.
We need to have respect for each other and it is about us having peace and to feel safe.
We not the same and some do suffer more than others. Shouldn't it be about preventing anyone from being hurt or what ever?
As we get older we do make our own rules to way we want to live and you will too, as it is life.

The world could not exist and man could not live a civilized social life without law and order. Loss of law and order shall ultimately lead to social and international anarchy and the extinction of mankind at one point of time

No. The clue is in the phrase Law and Order. Without law there is no established order, hence the result is chaos.

Nice thought though, but too many nutters out there for my liking!

No. Even if the government or any authorities in your life (i.e. a boss, parents, etc) didn't pose any regulations on you--you would still find reasons why people should live up to your expectations. You would still cry out "NOT FAIR!" or "That's mine, you can't take it!" or "What right have you to inflict pain on me?!! I'm calling the cops...oh wait, there are no cops, and hurting me is legal." "You owe me child support-how can I do this on my own?" And all your crying would be for nought. Would it be nice to live in a world where we feared our neighbors because there was nothing to stop them from doing any evil to us?
We all would still have written in our conscience some semblance of law, of right, of "ought".
Perhaps a good reading of "Lord of the Flies" would cure you of desiring this world.

Rules are there to be broken...
Eventually people will have to rely on there moral compass and unfortunately everyone has a different one. It is everyone choice to follow laws and most people follow them even if they don't agree with them, but they wouldn't if there were no laws.

If there were no rules and no laws I would kill a couple of people and steal a few things that I like. Do think that would be nice?

that is silly, people do what ever they want only if they hold no value to their own life. This is caused by religious dogma that attempts to veer people away from self esteem. If everyone valued their own life, they would seek to live effectively, which is not chaos. Don't but those irrational lies.
