Banks are the worst places you can go, and no one really charges commission anymore.
You will find all the best rates online, I've got a feeling Uswitch actually provide a comparison service. If you need to get them in person then Marks and Spencers usually offer the best rate with the Post Office not far behind them.

Post Office & Marks and Spencers are pretty good, with no commission.
You can haggle with travel agents as well to get the best rate!

Most places are the same...it all depends on what the rate is at the time of buying!! I've always got mine from my bank..no commission!
