"Coming out" is being honest with the world about being gay. You tell those who are close to you and who are around you in every day life (school, work..). It means you will no longer keep silent or lie about being gay. You might not run down the street waving a rainbow flag, but you won't hide it, either, especially if someone asks.

What do you mean by the question??? Do you mean like someone "coming out" and saying something???

Well if its that case, they just have to get something off their chest and they talk about it. They are "coming out" and opening up.

"Coming out means"- When the glitter of gayness is poured over the world and telling people that you are a rainbow seeking, boy driven crazed animal, dancing queen that will not be put down by the oppression of your country, that no longer shall you live in the shadow of your formal life and the doors of your closet case life style are taken down by the proud gay person that is held in side...that the shackles of str8-ness will be riped apart by the gay community!

In other worlds, your just telling people your gay...!

Telling people important to you that you are gay, lesbian, or transgendered. (ie. parents, friends, coworkers, classmates)

There are different levels, some people only come out to a few people that they trust, others start putting rainbow stickers all over their car and make it extremely obvious what their preference is.
