i'm in 11th grade and at my school there is this teacher who doesn't even teach me but he acts really wierd with me. Hes like the strictest teacher in the school to everyone but me. Once he took a photo of me and started going on about how much he LIKED it, i mean it was just a pic of me playing with my hair. Another time i was in his room for some reason and he just came out with 'fancy a job rosa' and winked at me, then a few days later he was shouting at some kids and came up to me after and said 'i'm not mean, well i'm not mean to you because i know you like and i'm nice to you, you've seen my nice side ' and winked at me yet again. Whenever i walk past he has to have some degree of eye contact with me and whenever i talk to him he always touches me on the arm or shoulder. Its only me hes like this with, why am i been singled out like this? (sorry for posting so much i want professional opinions of other teachers)

I would go to the principal or police school liason officer in a heartbeat.

I teach middle school. He is not appropriate.

IF you're feeling really uncomfortable, you have to address the issue. Talk to the teacher first. Tell him you don not want special treatment because it singles you out of the class and they notice you aren't being treated like the rest of the class. Tell him if it doesn't stop you will talk to your parents about it and then the administrators. AFter your discussion, write down every time he pays special attention to you if he doesn't stop Then go to your parents. They need to know. Then go to the school administration. Teachers shouldn't be inappropriate with students, and that's all there is to it.

The teacher may think he is being friendly, but this reads like the beginning of trouble. You should talk to an administrator right away. It may be happening with other girls or may have happened in the past. DO not let this slip by. If the principal does not believe you, take your parents in as well. They may transfer you to another class.

Rosa:
This guy is infatuated with you.
He shouldn't be taking pics of you and carrying on like he is.
He should treat you the same as any of the other kids.
If you feel he is being inappropriate, then tell someone.
