Pakistan is the biggest threat to world peace?

Question

I just had an argument with my boss who made the assertion above. He said that they are interfering in Afghanistan, have hundreds of radical schools teching hate and murder, are almost at a state of war with India and are that they have nationals living in England who are trying to attack it from within.

I said his argument was simplistic.

What do you all think?

Hes not far off the mark,.

Pakistan is a centre of radical islamic extremism.

The taliban comes and goes freely through its borders.

terrorists train there.

Christian churches are routinely burned and the congregation murdered.

Oakistan has attacked india on numerous occasions and only the threat of war from a much more powerful military prevents further attacks.

On paper,pakistan assists USA with the war on terror.An agreement they signed after being threatened quite rightly to be "bombed back to the stoneage" by usa.Of course ,as with Libya there will be great incentives to choose the right side.

The pakistan government treads a thin line between the needs of the USA and the demands of its population.

Your boss appears to have a very simplistic view of world politics. The biggest threat to world peace is the Bush administration. Yes, Pakistan could do more but they have limits and have to take onboard the views of its own population. Remember Pakistan is not a client state of the US.

Your boss is correct. Most of the people who live in Pakistan are
anti-USA and anti-India. Many support the Taliban and Al Quaida and they have protected Osama Ben Laden. They also harbor many training camps for Terrorists.
They have allowed the Taliban Army to regroup on Pakistan Soil
from where they launch devastating raids into Afghanistan and kill Canadian Troops and other Coalition Troops.

Umm, Saudia Arabia (So Called western ally)
has been found to be the funders of Radical Islamic schools in England / Uk.

Iran wants to set up a oil trade fair in Euros, which would DESTROY the us economy as the only major EXPORT from the us is the US$ to trade oil in.

Strange now the US is making claims against IRAN.

Yes, his argument is a bit simplistic. For instance, The Pakistani government is pro American and helping the USA with their war on terror.
