Yes. There were people on the tv show "this morning" last week discussing this very issue.
It's becoming less taboo and thats a very good thing.

I have never seen a women who could abuse a man. If some women was abusive I would leave. Women don't have that option with an abusive man. He can make her do anything he wants.
If a man is abused by a women leave. What is she suporting you? If you get stabbed go to the hospital and report it.
Then go with a policeman and get your stuff out of the house and let her worry about how she is going to make the payments.
I would just take off and go 3 states away and get a new job and a new life and she would never know were I was.
that is what an abused women should do.
But they always call back to home and then he finds out where they are. Report him to the police, then take off.

It seems that you are generalizing. Do you feel that there is a lot of abuse directed by women toward men ? Abuse is wrong no matter who is abusing. Perhaps it is more difficult for men to seek help because in doing so, they would be admitting to some sort of weakness. I hope that anyone, man or woman who is being abused will confront their abuser; seek help and understand that abuse is never acceptable.

There are certainly some very violent women around nowadays. I think the main problem that men have dealing with such a woman is that they are ashamed to admit that they are abused. Men should not be ashamed to pull the plug on this sort of behaviour. Violence must be stopped.

There are women who are abusive to men (and to other women), but those numbers are not as high as abusive males! Neither sex should be abusive, in my opinion. My sister was never abusive until she got abused by a man.... And then by another man... And another. After that, she became emotionally and even physically abusive. I was never abused, but even I wanted to go beat her boyfriends after a while! Perhaps if the men weren't so abusive, the women wouldn't be.

Dunno, but they should. And these women should be dealt with accordingly and with the same kind of punishment as a man.
Its all abuse after all. Its also more common than we realise.
I know a man who is actually battered nearly every day and still hangs around. Is it the same kind of syndrome that keeps the abused women in the relationship and doesn't leave? Can't understand that one either.

Dunno about that!I had a friend whose partner used to beat the living hell out of him, and it took a long time for him to even confide in me as to what was going on. I think men are embarassed to highlight these issues and feel weak for tolerating them. Its certainly not just men who are the aggressors in relationships, its time people were made aware that men can suffer the same abuse as women often do .
