i dont think only 2 characters will die. but here are the people who i think have the most chances.

1.Harry:most chances of dying.i dont want him to die, but i think that when voldemort killed lily potter,he knew she had given harry potter a protection of love and so he turnedharry into a horcrux. dumbledore said even living things can be horcruxes. so when harry finds out, he'll kill himself after destroying the other horcruxes.

2.voldemort: he has to die.at least i hope so.if my upper theory is correct then voldemort will die after harry kills himself.

3.hermione: voldemort will want anyone who is very close to harry dead. hermione is the smartest and will definitely find clues to find out where the horcruxes are hidden.hence even she has chances of dying.

4.ron:ron is also very very close to harry and so voldemort will definitely want him dead.also, his family has been a "betrayal to the pure bloods"(only voldemort's followers).

5.hagrid: hagrid too is a very close friend of harry and since he is a half giant, he is strong and can kill death eaters, so voldemort will want him out of the way.

6.bellatrix lestrange/neville longbottom: either one will kill the other. neville will kill for revenge and bella will kill for fun.

7. snape: if he was loyal to voldemort, harry will kill him.if he was loyal to dumbledore after all, voldemorrt will kill him.either way i think he'l die.

these are the people who i think will die.hope it helps!!

Well, I can say that I DON'T think Harry will die. The series is a hero's journey, and most often the hero lives at the end of these. Besides, if he dies, it's likely that Voldemort lives, which would NOT be a happy ending. I think he will be victorious in defeating Voldemort and go on with his life.

I have a feeling Ron is going to die. I hope I'm wrong, but we'll just have to see.

Other than that, I really don't know...well, I guess Voldemort counts as my second "person," right?

First Jo said that 1 character got a reprieve and 2 are going to die that she did not plan to originally. There could still be more characters to die than 2. Voldemort I think will die, because she is not planning any sequel series. Also, sadly, I think Harry will die, because Jo does not any authors to continue her stories of Harry.(said in interview). I think the two characters that she did not plan to die originally would be a cameo character that had a bigger part than she expected them too, a character close to Harry, or someone like Lupin, or Madam Maxine that came in halfway through the series. Another canident is soemone who comes in everyother book. Personally I think that it will be Charlie Weasley and Lupin. Maybe a death eater too, like Snape, Peter, Malfoy, Bella., or undiscover. Harry Potter is an AWSOME AMAZING story.!!!!!!!

Well, we all know that Voldemort's a given, that's not even an issue. But personally I think Snape will end dying to save Harry. It's the only logical explanation. I've thought about it a lot and that's the only solution to this. I refuse to believe that Harry will die.

I think, since it's magical and all, Fred's hand would disappear from the clock - having his hand there for all that time after his death would be disturbing, if not upsetting, for the Weasleys, wouldn't it? Besides, if every dead member of the Weasley family was still on the clock, it would be overcrowded with hands. But, then again, it could have been only the Weasleys we know. And I don't think there's a part labeled 'Dead', to be honest - that's just weird and unnecessary. For the disappearance of the hand (if it did in fact disappear), I think it would just vanish or quickly fade away: that's what magic can do, after all.

OMG. I AM A HUGE FAN!
:>)

Um..I'd have to go with Hagrid, just because he was literally the first wizard to ever meet Harry and he's one of Harry's closest friend. I also think one of Harry's close or intermediate friend will die. (like Hermione, Ron, Lupin, Ginny, Neville, or Luna)

Then, I'm HOPING that Voldie will die. JUST NOT HARRY!

*sigh* We'll find out soon enough!
Cheers!

Well the only way Voldemort can die is if Harry dies. So 1 one dies the other must die. Harry can only kill him if he dies also since they sare the same blood. There are so many possibilities; Snape and Malfoy, Ron and Hermione, Harry and Voldemort. Its a toss up.

More than 2 will surely die -- but the two Rowling says were unexpected... I'm going to go with Hagrid and like... maybe a Dursely... :)
