Funny you should ask....when I was watching his interview on 60 Minutes last night, the thought crossed my mind. I hate making comparisons like that...but its seems a good one at this point. He is young and fresh, and he - in my opinion - would garner respect from other nations. Sadly, though, I don't think that Americans would respect him as much as the rest of the world.

JFK was a big fraud anyway. He womanized all the time with women like Marilyn Monroe. Almost started a nuclear attack when dealing with the Soviets over the Cuban missile crisis - and the Bay of Pigs was a fiasco. He was the precursor to the disastrous war in Vietnam. All he did was make big speeches - because he had a good speech writer. The guy looked good on tv - cuz he was photogenic and suave, thats all. The rest is invented history by the historians who have nothing better to do.

Are you trying to say that Obama is a big fake like JFK ??

No, JFK knew how to stand up to evil and was not all about tax and spend. JFK cut taxes and stared down the Soviet Union. Barack bin Laden wants to appease terrorists, since he was educated in a madersa. He wants to raise your taxes. The last great Democrat left the Senate in 2004. Zell Miller was the last old school, middle of the road Democrat.

No he is not. I think this has to do with Mr. Obama being a minority. Kennedy came from a affluent family hailing from New England. Granted, he was catholic, but that does not cancel out the charm and conviction he had.

No he's not. JFK was for a strong military, tax cutting and capitalism. Obama has not made one policy statement, only has 2 years in the senate, and nobody knows what he would do with Iran, Healthcare. His nly attributes apparantly is that he is young and black. If that what makes a good president, then liberal hollywood has really won over the country, and that would be a really sad day

I don't think there will be another JFK, Reagan, FDR, or any other president you care to mention.

Obama will have to make a name for his self, if elected. Just like anyone else that has held the office.

I hope not! I don't want his kids to end up the same way. Or his wife be a widow. Besides that, isn't Barack a Muslim? JFK was Roman Catholic.
