The cultural anthropologists and historians will have a field day. Never before in history have the opinions of the ordinary person been so widely known or disseminated. For probably the first time in history there is a contemporary record of "common" people's reactions to events and their concerns from the trivial to the most dramatic.

My hell I hope not. There are so many idiots and morons on this site that it will give a distorted view of the state of civilized mankind in our day and age.

It may be, but by that time we will have passed the software & hardware needed to read it, and will only be able to guess at the wonders of the 21st centuary bulletin board.
