Marilyn Monroe was an extremely beautiful woman. She had such a wonderful personality and died before her time.
where as
Anna Nicole Smith was pretty but was fake. Seemed to be happy with things in her life but yet very depressed.
The both women had depression which is a serious disease (not like cancer or anything) but can be hard to get out of.

Anna Nicole was constantly compared to Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn was never compared to Ann Nicole.
They both were absolutely gorgeous women. They loved the camera. They both knew how to make the camera love them.
Personal opinions need left aside that may hurt and degrade Anna Nicole for she was and is loved by many. May she rest in peace.

In my opinion, I do think that Anna Nicole Smith tried to live her life like the late Marilyn Monroe. Anna Nicole's idol was Marilyn. I do believe that her legacy will be far and beyond that of Marilyns. They both had the same ambitions in life and somehow they both died the same way. They both had sex appeal.

NO..!! Marilyn Monroe has angelic vulnerable, yet extremely sexual appeal. She undoubtedly is a symbol of the eternal feminine, her ceaseless quest for happiness led her mostly to personal failures and disappointments. Marilyne is a feminine icon..
Anna Nicole Smith also was "sunk" in depression and avowedly showed her vulnerability and was "haunted" from drug and weight problems. Yet, she cannot be compared with Marilyne Monroe.

I think Marilyn was loved by more people. She is still an icon after all these years. I think Marilyn is far more beautiful. Saying that, they seam to of had very tragic lives, there are some simularities but I don't think Anna will be remembered in 40 years time.

Marilyn tried to find the love she never got as a child.Her inability to have a baby devastated her as well. Marilyn had far more personal pain in her life that she didn't deserve than Anna did.

They don't. They're vitually incomparible. If I was Marilyn, I'd find that to be insulting. Anna Nicole Smith was a wanna-be Marilyn.....everyone is!

No comparison. Marilyn had class and was a pretty good actress (Some Like It Hot, for example).
Anna was a gold digger. She was a good example that you can take the trash out of the trailer park, but it is still trash.
She is in the same category as Paris and Nichole...bimbos with no talent but have a lot of cash and fame...both undeserved.
