Stopped reading them years ago, as an educated person I can't relate to them any more. I find I'm happier getting my news from a range of other sources that don't have anything to gain from your attention.

The Guardian, although technically it's not a broadsheet any more but Berliner format ;-) Spend wayyy too much time on the Guardian talkboard.

I used to read the Herald but its increasing political bias just made it unreadable - it became intolerable propaganda. It is mostly the FT or the Times I get now. Although I get the Times because it isn't a broadsheet any more. Actually I wish you could get the FT in a tabloid form too.

The Telegraph - The Daily Mail - Sunday Times. I most certainly would not soil my hands on the lefty press - The Guardian - The Observer - The Independant (which isn't). Also, the Financial Times, these days.

PS. Just because a paper is printed in tabloid form, does not make it ( per se) a tabloid.

I read the Daily Telegraph for many years and particularly enjoyed Frank Johnson and Craig Brown. Sadly, Frank Johnson has now died and I am not prepared to buy it just to read Craig Brown. I thought that the paper basically went down the tubes when Charles Moore, its one time editor, left.
