Well, I just find it unfair for colorblinds not to be admitted in some professional occupations such as being a pilot and an official solidier. I'm a colorblind myself. Any justifiable reasons?

To be a pilot you must be able to see the lights on the runway and distinguish between them where to land. They use red and green and those are colors a colorblind person cant see.

Color blindness makes it difficult to distinquish the sky from the ground while landing. When there is a crash while landing, the first thing they check is the pilots eyes for color blindness.

I don't see why that should prevent a private person from being a pilot. Iknow it is a tough break!

My father was a pilot in the military for 30 years. He was colorblind. He just managed to memorize where the "colored" lights were supposed to be and what they were for. LOL!

Uh-yeah, you can't see particular color groups.
An airline cockpit is filled with color coded information.
If you can't tell a red alert from a green alert, well, let's just say I would rather have a drunk pilot at the stick.
