Hubby uses ordinary Mr Sheen to clean ours...comes up a treat and smells nice. Twice a year he'll use the 'proper' stuff to condition & clean.
For really bad soiling, just use warm water and something like Jif, Mr Muscle etc..

Just warm water and a wash leather. Squeeze most of water out of leather, wash over. Then wipe over again with the leather as dry as possible to remove any dirty water. My suite was 17 years old, still looked like new when I gave it to my nephew for his first home, because I was bored with it.

Buy a special Leather Cleaner not only do they clean the leather it also feeds and treats it. They are very good and John Lewis sell them. They are quite expensive but you only need use a little bit.

Warm soap and water cleans leather.
BUT, you will then need to feed the leather to protect and stop it drying out and to it and keep it supple.
Bought leather cleaning products, like Leather Soap, contain leather food.
