The ad was shown during the 1990s. It featured a waiter with a pretty girl. she was given a message from the waiter.

Probably so. While "Save the Best for Last" didn't do so well for Vanessa Williams on the American charts, but it hit #1 in Australia. So a company could probably obtain the song for use in an advert for very little money.

I think it was used in a gravy advert... possibly Bisto.
