I been working for this company around 1 year. Including me there is 3 workers. one of them came in just a week earlier than me.
They used to not be on time, talks bad about boss behind, and often through negative on whatever i suggest or opinion even in chatting but they good in acting in front of boss. Of course they are not totally useless. Beggining i thought doesnt matter, as long i do my job, My boss will realised. My boss like to pass the job to them and ask them to get anyonelse do together. They never gave it to me, especially my boss there. i did ask them many times, they never give. Today i realised something that i so stupid,i though as long i'm honest and not acting, my boss know it. It's not, my boss really though i did nothing that why both of them salary get increased double than mine. I so mad, because i even do the cleaning part which not my duty while they never do even is their rubbish....(this is because my boss never hire a cleaning lady)

It's time to move on [get another job]. Your co-workers are using you & you don't fight back. . . Go to some job that appreciates your honesty & good work.

I worked at a company for nine years in management. Recently I resigned. It was a difficult decision for me as I had put a lot of time and effort into building my career and had made sacifices that affected my family. I truly enjoyed my career however I felt very unappreciated for the amount of hard work and effort I had put into helping build this company to what it is today, a very profitable organization. Although I was piad well (salary) and given incentives (bonuses and trips) I felt very used and unappreciated. Although the owner gave these wonderful incentives, to quote an old saying, "What he gave with his hands he took back with his mouth". That being said, because I had been there a long period of time he overlooked my acheivements and looked to the future of the new up and coming "stars". I was and had been training these rising stars and in the end it may have been what led to my leaving the company. I let the new stars take credit for some of my ideas and out of the box way of thinking that got me the position in the first place. When they actually used thier own ideas (not all as some were good) many fell short of the goals and expectations of the owner. Thats when the owner would blame me and be very harsh and critical in his demeaner. It did absolutely no good to explain to him that it was not my ideas or solutions. He only saw that iy didn't work out as he had hoped. When the new stars ideas did work, they would get all the glory and I was left in the shadows even though I had "guided" them to that idea or solution. I resigned and left on good terms from that company and finally feel like I have my life back. I am now working for a company that truly appreciates my talents and I get that simple "Thank You" that I would have loved to have heard from my previous boss. My previous boss has contacted me several times since I have left asking me to return with an increased salary and incentives. I have thanked him each time and politely turned him down.
Don't let anyone take credit for any hard work or great ideas you do at work. You have worked hard for that acheivement and should be recoginized and respected for it. Be sure to receive that "Thank You" as most times it will mean a lot more then higher wages. Respect and common courtesy go a long way.

I can understand how you feel...I think the most important criteria in a job is the BOSS..how much you are paid is not a problem becoz your boss should be one who can see your efforts, appreciate your hard work, give you opportunities and care about you...otherwise you will not feel happy & how much hard work you put in will go down the drain...
