"The ride of a lifetime". I'm writing a short story with this title. If you saw it sitting on a bookcase what would you expect to find on the inside of the book??

A story with plenty of action, some good characters that are well developed, a good plot for the story, and above all else it has to be a very good read-one that grabs the readers attention so that they don't want to put the book down until finished reading.

I would think that anything about 'racing' or something like that would be too cliche. I would assume it would just be someones journey through some life event. If you want it to be a short story you can just come up with a event that would change someones life and focus on achieving that like over a summer period. Good luck.

It sounds like something in history...as if it's an older person looking back or a non-fiction based on a major event.
