World cup cricket ?
Yes India has chance but winning the final is not very sure.

Definitely, the Indians have the scope for winning the world cup 2007.
Despite having the three senior players who have crossed 10,000 runs in one day internationals (Sachin, Ganguly, and Dravid), which other teams do not have, the Indians are really having more scope for winning the world cup 2007.
But the main things that our team should concentrate are consistency in batting, not to give extras extravagantly when bowling, and also not to lose the self confidence in some critical positions. Should they rectify in all the above fields, the present team is more than sufficient to win the world cup 2007.

In short yes. Indians do have a slender chance to win World Cup'07. Apart from an all out effort, they need some luck too. Many Australian players have retired in recent times. That is no reason to underestimate them though, but still should India play the finals against them, there is a slight chance.

I dont think that this Indian team is strong enough to win the world cup .Anyway this team will reach the semis for sure and then it will be up to the team to face the probable semifinal line up of South Africa ,England and New Zealand.I hope it wouldf be NZ because they are they weaker team of the three.

Would love to see it happen, but we are no way the most focused team around. We carry too many passengers and frankly I think Rahul Dravid is doing the rest of the Team and India too, a great disservice. His loyalty is to the Team and not to individuals. Ganguly fought very hard to regain his form and his perseverance paid off. Rahul is slowly proving to be a very inconsequential captain, lets hope I am proved wrong. On that note, good luck to our boys.

yes, of course. Indians have the capacity to win the world cup. we just have to work hard and together. one more thing. we are Indians, and we must be proud of it. i have seen many people discouraging the Indian team. if this goes on, we won't be able to taste success.
