Well, if he doesn't get the nomination, I wouldn't be voting for him.
Abraham Linconln was a few years older than Barak Obama when he was nominated for President. He served exactly ONE two-year term in the House of Representatives...less experience than Mr. Obama...and became one of our greatest Presidents. Today is his birthday - Feb 12 - and a good time to remember that Washington DC isn't necessarily the best place to qualify a presidential candidate.
Senator Obama has served for years in the Illinois State Legislature, has traveled abroad extensively and is an intelligent, thoughtfull and creative individual. If he survives the primaries and actually gets the nomination, there's no reason not to vote for him.

Our nations is not ready for Obama. I don't want to lie down to sleep knowing someone has the button with only "state legislature" experience. Its another dog and pony show by the democrats.
I sure wouldn't be able to sleep if Hillary were in charge....Her defense of the country would be sending the enemy a candy-gram! She is an EVIL person! If she became the vice president...someone would have a toe tag within the first year...2nd fiddle is not her bag!
IMHO

Good question. My apprehension would be that he does not have enough experience, especially to handle the pressing issues of the days. On the other hand, if we elect one of the "dinosaurs" we'll have the same old same old.
Whoever the next President is, they're going to visibly age very quickly.

My grandfather lived in Hawaii from age 3-21 years old, some of his relations still live there. He says that nothing good comes from that state except pineapple and sugar cane. Grandpa was an astute person I will respect him and not vote for that guy.

In my opinion, Hilary should run for president and Obama should be her running mate. Then when her term(s) are up, Obama should run for president. Hilary has more experience under her belt and therefore should be president first. Meanwhile, Obama can learn the ropes for his term. It's a perfect plan :)

i dont think america is ready for a black president. i am not racist, but there are too many racist people in america. if he were elected he would be assasinated withing a few weeks. possibly another civil war?? its sad 2 say, but unfortunatly true.
as far as his beliefs and would he be a good president....im sure he would, but i dont think we will ever know.
