It is sad to read the terrible things being written about what and who Christians are. Ignorance and stupidity!

Bush is NOT a "typical" Christian. There is good and bad in all people, but you can't throw away the whole bushel for one bad apple. Funny how the world that screams tolerance is the first to be intolerant. You folks have no idea. Thats alright though...it's expected.

If you judge 'typical' by the amount of stupid things he says and does and his overwhelming sense that he is always right, and by being single minded, I would have to say yes. Most typical christians are self-righteous and condescending towards others and their ideas, just as Bush has been.
Now, if you judge a christian by his faith and loyalty to his beliefs, then I would have to say NO, because Christ talked about such issues as love and treating others with respect and not being dishonest or self-righteous, but rather serving god. Of course this view of christians invalidates 90% of them self-professed christians as well.
George Bush is a politician; he has a smart group of people who work with him and they believe that they have the way, but they are wrong! His opponents are also smart and sleazy and they believe they have the way as well. Both sides give most of their lip service to being christians and both sides are full of sh*t!. They are simply politicians.
My personal belief is that George Bush is a guy who is probably a nice enough guy, but misguided in his goals! His opposition are not particularly nice people and are definitely misguided as well.
They are politicians!
Most practicing Christians are also misguided as are Muslims, Jews, Pagans, and the whole lot of them(including strict atheists)
whenever you mix religion and politics you end up with misguided souls running the show, Sorry, but it is true!!!!

Well, let's see, it you could define a typical christian as a member of American "Royalty", raised in a family deeply involved in the power structure of America, with great wealth and influence, then you might have a case to include GW Bush. But then you have to include his actions, which by definition fail to live up to christian principals. Therefore, NO!

there is no definition for a typical Christian but if there were he would not fit it. Because the law of man is not always in the best interest of the law of God and he is a politician.
