I'm not talkin about politics and foreign policy . I'm talkin about ANY insult directed at AMERICANS !!! They've been doing it for DECADES, so this isn't a 'new thing' .

I just assume they are cranky because they are forced to use cheap toilet paper. Doesn't fix anything, but the idea their asses are chapped makes me happy, lol.

Yes, the last 40 years or so our media has done everything in their power to make us look bad. If you watch old news reels that they used to show in the movie houses everything was always positive and showed us in our best light.
You tell people we do good work and people will remember it.. but when all you tell is the bad and negative well what do you expect? There is good people doing good things everyday in our country. That includes the military and the administration but you would never know it, the media will ignore anything good cause 'it doesn't sell commmercial ads'.
The general public would rather be angry and gossip how bad it all is than think positive anymore. The brainwashing totally exists in our country and it spreads to all the others in the world.

I have no problem with those who wish to debate our politics as I understand that our politics affect the world. I have no problem with people of other religious affilitations debating with me either. But when someone attacks us personally because we are American I feel anger and do occasionally feel insulted. I recognize that there are rude people everywhere so I shake it off and write a good retort!!

Well,if you'd look at Madonna,& the movies we watch
and the clothing some of the women wear and some
of the things we all do,and if you watch all the commercials
selling everything from alcohol to meds for Herpes,& all
kinds of things people shouldn't be proud of or advertise,
you can see why some of them do it. The liberals make us
all look pretty sad!!! To change things,we have to change
the messages of the people,and attitudes. Clothing should
be decent,especially around the children,ect....
have you looked at what has happened to our language
today? It's been replaced by cuss words!!! Who wants to
be heard swearing & cursing and dressing like hookers to
all the other nations & countries?
Look at the movie industry & tell me you don't know why we
get insulted? People need to change!

I really could care less. I respect all GOOD people and look forward to a future Italy trip on October. I expect to be treated nice and I will do the same.

I rise above it. If I'm in a position to persuade them to think differently, I'll try to educate them about the USA. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; I don't have to agree with them. I consider if they are from countries that allow freedom of speech of if the people ruling their country "brainwash" them into feelings against USA.

Well, if the United States can invade a peaceful nation and execute it's democratically ELECTED leader, THEN foreigners have the RIGHT to insult and build nuclear weapons to protect themselves.

It depends on whether the insult is justified or not. If it's justified, no problem. If not justified, I've got a problem.
