Any American citizen has a bad habit of giving opinions about other countries alike its politicians. It has a bad habit of giving warnings. Don't you still realize your situation in Iraq? You call India as poor and backward. Wahh...how many of you have really been to India? Accept that you have a bad habit in following what your media projects (like your existing president in 2nd term). Indians are clever business community. If you have money, they will listen to you for its benefit. India slowly (& completely) uses the one who thinks itself the world’s best. I can understand your frustration about India. It is because your jobs are being taken away by Indians or work is being outsourced in India. Just keep on watching….

Common US citizen is not frustrated on India. It’s some highly opinionated Indians that frustrate everyone. Indians do not need a CNN to shape their opinions. Most Indians live in the glory of its past. We do realize our situation in Iraq. Please remember India's glorious history where India tried to get rid of the so called terrorists in Sri Lanka. US has not given up on its efforts. Yes there are mistakes but US moves on.

A "clever" business community really depends on the money it makes and accumulates. India's wealth comes from US investments.. Jobs are being taken away from the USA because they are being given away by US Corporations. Without US capital and imports of software, there will be no modern India. India's unplanned growth came out of spontaneous flight of software work to India from the USA in spite of the best efforts of the Indian Government. Unemployment in major cities of USA is still at 3% which is considered full employment in economics.

Yes we are watching.. like everyone else has for the past few hundred years. As for the last 100, USA seems to be doing well, thank you.

Please note the GDP of India for any one year is less than the auto industries sales revenue in any one year. You have a long way to go, India. Till then, do what you are doing. Grow. And keep an open mind and know all those who are helping you get there.

I agree with you. There is lot of misconception in US about other countries. Just look at the first answer and you realize that how misguided people are. Hey Karkails, majority of the Indians who come already have a graduate degree in India. Very Few come here to study. May be you are not aware, the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) is the best technology school in the world, yes ahead of MIT, Majority of the people in US think India like what they see on National Geographic or Discovery Channel. If you have been to India, you do not see Elephants/camels/tigers walking on the street. India is a fast developing country and according to Goldman Sachs, by 2020 India will have the fourth largest economy in the world.

sagarika you dont have a clue regarding developed countries .. do you .The british came and added some sense in to our culture ..admit it, other wise we would have been still throwing widows in to fire. I used to think like you .. once i left india i realised we are a PEACEFUL country looking to create riots or problems among ourselves. I am sure we will never attack any country like those americans who keep nuclear weapons & live by selling arms and wars. Those who read these are educated ones and we are different , but majority of Indians are not. you should stay outside india for some time to realise how CRUDE we are ...But hey we are on the right track but it gonna take a lot of time.
For us constructing the ram mandiris more important than helping the poor and needy.... Imagine a party coming to power just preaching religion and hatred. God help us . As for those americans, Who the **** cares about what they say.

What is outsourcing? BEGGING americans of some dollars..

How many INDIANS who are as you said after completing education in INDIA?.. I really appreciate and agree with those americans answered you.... Do you think the computer and internet you are using is INDIAN MADE?... It is just a copied formula or made by AMERICANS... why americans were frustrated? To tell a message that YOU FIRST CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES THEN THIS WORLS WILL TELL YOU .YOU are great... You and we should not tell we are great... Is americans killing their own country men and burrying under earth? Is americans were corrupting governmetn money and buying lakhs and lakhs of costlier cheppals like our politicians?..

You can keep in your mind that you are not inferior... It is to prevent inferiority complex about your nation... But you should not over proud without anything.... You see our railway department sir's/ madam's have changed toilets in our trains only after adiscovery channel show. Showed this wonderful condition... when our government is too much busy, for hearing its subjects pettition and complaints.. only a foreign T.V. show showed our condition...so, they changed,... But I really proud because Only my country started the first university in the whole world.. But unfortunately it was past... I am also one of those who were waiting for the golden age again.. Keeping nothing but Hope., and only hope...

Okay sagarika.. I swear, I will never call myself as an INDIAN anymore... I am sure about that.. But tell me why many youngsters were frustrated when they are living here?... Like me..
I never said I am the only cleverest person on this earth... i accept I am a stupid guy... Please answer a poor and stupid guy like me.. Please...

How long can we live in self denial and keep on talking about our culture, vedic maths and invention of zero by aryabhatta ?. Just accept the facts and this is what is possible for a nation with 1.2 billion people. I am working with americans and europeans and when we travelled to some nice countries, everyone loves it. When it comes to travelling to India, they try to avoid it after first visit.

I am sorry then explain why half of our nation is illiterate then. India is still poor and backwards except for a minority who think they are the majority. And most Americans probably think about India as often as they think about Turkmanistan. What are you actually asking?

That's odd, I see more foreign people knocking America and it's politics. Most Americans give less than a hoot about India.
