Good antispyware products
Spybot Search and Destroy
Windows Defender
AVG Anti Spyware
But if you don't want to get spyware in the first place I'd suggest looking at this. Probably one of the best pieces of software I've ever downloaded. http://www.siteadvisor.com/

Search google for Ad-Aware -- by Lavasoft. Download the SE Personal product. Lavsoft is reputable, easy to use, updates itself, and gets rid of the spyware/ads.
It is sometimes good to run 2 - Spybot and Ad-Aware.
Also, have you run your antivirus program?

I agree with some of the recommendations:
Spybot (you got it already)
Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Microsoft Defender - XP and above, versions of Windows
Spyware Blaster
Spyware Guard
Install and run these, to catch as much of the stuff on your system as possible. Remaining, bootup in safe-mode and delete with CCCleaner - free download software programme.
Good luck! Rob

I've got the exaxt same problem, it appeared yesterday. I went out and bought the latest edition of Norton security just there during my lunchbreak. Hopefully it works when I get home later

Get yourself a boot disc from eBay for about £3, boot up your PC with it, & delete it from there, foolproof as because Windows XP won't be running at the time, (boot disc environment will be instead) then you should be able to delete it.

Zlob is a SmitFraud Trojan and requires a specialized program to remove it. These two sites remove SmitFrauds. They remove Zlob.
