epublican? Not only am I sick of it on the airwaves, but also in conversations and other realms of human interaction. I find so many of my friends/aquaintences making sweeping statements that takes one person and one belief and puts them in a catagory where they are forever labeled in that person's mind. I have some views that would be both conservative and liberal, as I think most people do. What do you think?

It's only effective if you believe it. Most everyone I know falls in the middle somewhere. Decent people vote for people, not parties.

Oh yes, the media has indeed tried and still does to demonize anyone who dosn't think ther very liberal way. College professors who are underworked and overpaid, sway young minds everyday to fantasy world that doesn't exist. Look at the grammy's the fix was in. the dixie chicks won 5 even though there were far from the best albums, the fix is in with th oscars too. al gore will get an oscar for his global warming movie.
I once told a 100,000 college professor who taught maybe 3 classes a week to go out their and get a real job and see what it's like.

I think you are right. How silly it is to assume that one can categorize people based on a statement they make that may be construed as liberal or conservative. I am liberal on some things and conservative on others.

yes we are all one or the other. the party system doesn't work. you have those that vote for their party blindly and out of uneducated stupidity (case in point hillery) and those that pay more attention to CNN( communist new network) than they should. do away with the party system do away with the big government.
