Goz; those machines take no prisoners, but I was thinking more along the lines of attaching yrself to the sofa or similar

Any mistake it is possible to make with a sewing machine, I've done it at some point. Including sewn through my own finger. I don't recommend that.

Reminds me of the old joke where a bloke goes into a public toilet and there is a hole in the wall with the notice "Wife Away?" over it. (fill in the middle bit yourself) and there's a button sewn on the end.

Yes I did! When I was in school...I hated sewing...boring! I was more interested in chatting to my friend and ended up sewing the thing I was making to my skirt! ha! That about sums up my sewing!
