No costumes just a few guys "acting" out for all hours!

well i've played my share of d&d adventures, and i find it to be quite a nice experience as long as it doesnt get up to their heads, cuz i've played with some guys that are too into it, and just take thet fun out of it

I did it a few times where we'd be up almost all night and into the morning. It was pretty fun and even included a couple of the ladies. Of course, there were a couple of guys we had to remind that it's just a game, but all in all it was fun.

It's a good exercise for the imagination and the DM has to be a good storyteller otherwise it just turns into "You have entered another room/cave/bandit-infested lair."

Then again, I remember playing a Ravenloft scenario and losing my character... on second thought, I hate it.

I LOVE it! The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Willow, Legend, Lord of the Rings, can't get enough of those movies- and D&D let's you be like a character in the movies. It's great.
