I've just received this e-mail, containing an EXTREMLEY PROVOCATIVE sexual pic on a Lego product of Prophet MOHAMMED (saw). However, I found out that it was a computerized pic, and Lego had an official press release on its website saying that there is no such product. The thing is, are we supposed to believe every "provocative" e-mail we receive, and spread the hatred and aggression?

That wasn't a Spam e-mail, it was a forwarded e-mail from a friend.
The question was, how would u react?

This friend was sending this e-mail believing what it contains. And as what any Muslim would do, she was asking us to boycott Lego and all Danish products.

As muslims, we are expected to verify news we get before we spread it unknowingly. And I know all my christian friends do the same. What I do is either check whether such mails are true, or delete them without forwarding to anybody if I do not have the time to investigate.
I get this type of mails all the time, and it's not always of religious provokative nature. Sometimes it is to ruin the reputation of a company, like what happened with Pepsi, Cocacola, Dassani water, Wrigley's gum etc etc.
I do not believe in boycotting as a first option, especially boycotting all products of a whole country, because generalizing would exactly be like those who call a whole nation terrorists just because minorities among them plan terror actions! And I remember what happened years ago in Egypt with Mcdonald's and Sainsbury's when hundreds of EGYPTIANS were thrown on the street jobless because their place of work was boycotted and attacked!
Of course it would be a different scenario if we were wronged by the government of a country or by the majority of its citizens. Only under such circumstances I would support boycotting.

First of all don't forward that e-mail to anyone and don't speak about it as that was one of the goals of the person who made it. About boycotting .. it's something personal ..if you believe a company or a country has made something wrong, go on and boycot it's products. It's good that you try to find out, but don't help spreading what you get in your e-mail and don't spend much of time discussing it.

You did right by searching for the truth and finding out that this is nothing but a lie.
You can think about this. Who wants our youth to keep thinking about trivial stuff like that instead of focusing about what matters in life ? Who wants to stir the anger and the fanatic feelings ?

Just ignore it. It's just a mail spam, and it will make your mail box and bulk mail to be full, and cause your PC to get slower and slower. Just ignore those trashy mails.

I hope this helps... ;)

You have to make sure your SPAN filters are turned ON. you can also send the e-mails to span, eventually they will stop coming. Make sure your span is working and in the "ON" mode. Good luck to you.
