There's this boy at school,a year older than me (around 16) and he plays the violin.He's real great,he wants to go abroad to study music and i think he has great potential.
But the kids at school pick on him and laugh at him because he is not popular,gorgeous and stuff
I am the school's flag-holder( this is the best student at school) and I'm also popular.So,because i look up to him a lot,I play the piano and know how much it takes to become what he is,i went up to him and told him how much i admire him and that he should invite me to one of his music school's concerts.Not meaning that i fancy him or anything.
And when the....morons saw it, they started hanging out with him and making him a friend too.Is this bad?D u think he feels that people accept him just because of me???

well maybe they saw how much u admire him so they gave him a chance and saw that he is really nice and cool

Yes they definitely accepted him because of you. It might not be bad if they they find they like him but they could use him to get to you. so you should find out what they're actually up to before start feeling bad

you will have to ask him if he feels it is because of you
I would think that if you opened a door for other people to like this person that it would make you feel good...as long as they are sincere and not jerking his chain.

you're just like me..it's not bad that they hang around him because they know you're popular an have a CRUSH or whatsoever to him..what you did is nice,,since then he started to have a SO-CALLED friends...good job but do ask those persons since you're popular to be-FRIEND o him truthfully
