Everything tangible is a money equivalent. One dollar equals so many apples or so many tires. How one values an old watch or a new pair of shoes for instance varies between people. Some of that difference may be sendimental value which is not a tangible and not a money equivalent. That is why a buyer will not pay as much and why the seller is likely a relunctant seller.

The deeper question is why people are so money oriented. If you sell your soul for money...well you have no soul.

Good question. Look at what you do everyday. You wake up in your bed. That bed costs money. You take a shower, brush your teeth. That bar of soap, toothpaste, running water, cost money. You want something to eat for breakfast. That tasty eggo and syrup cost money. If you drive your car to go somewhere, it needs gas, and gas costs money. You are bored at home, you turn on the TV. The TV costs money, the electricity costs money. The list goes on. So you decide if everything is money ;)

definitely not. what is money. all need to have is peace. u can't eat money it may buy food not hungry. may buy bed but no sleep. but everybody runs behind money and at one point the money chases you from there neither you can stop or rest even u are tired of making money. it is an illusion. of course money is needed as long as it is within the needed list. it is not the eternal one.

The choice is yours. You can make money everything and never be satisfied in life because you always want more or you can see it as a necessity and balance your life accordingly.

In our economy, most things have a monetary value because of scarcity. They say "time is money," but this is not completely true because you only have one lifetime.
